Electronic Data Interchange or EDI, is a type of paid commercial software that allows computer-to-computer exchange of business information using a standardized format (ANSI X12).

Notice: As of October 2025, all new GSA contractors should use the FAS Catalog Platform (FCP) to establish their electronic catalog on GSA Advantage. The below guidance is only for new VA contractors and existing GSA contractors already using SIP.
