Subcontracting for Subcontractors

Whether you are a large business or small, one way to increase your exposure in the federal marketplace is to act as a subcontractor to prime vendors. Customer agencies get introduced to your company and your level of service, increasing your potential for receiving orders as a future prime contractor. Extending your network of industry partners means greater chances of work, even if limited to work as a subcontractor.

However, be aware that work as a subcontractor is not reportable as a GSA MAS contract sale and does not count toward the minimum sales requirements established in contract clause I-FSS-639 (Contract Sales Criteria).

Additional information about subcontracting is available here.
