“Catalog related mods” are modifications that impact the electronic catalog information on GSA Advantage, such as Additions, Deletions, and Changes to existing offerings (e.g. pricing mods, descriptive mods).
For contracts using the FAS Catalog Platform, loading catalog information into FCP is a part of the modification contracting process for “catalog related mods.” Vendors will still use eMOD to complete the modification and will use the FCP while still completing their mod in eMod to load catalog details as part of the modification process to the modification.
See catalog.gsa.gov/help for a “Mapping Catalog Actions to eMod Types” guide, as well as Product Catalog User Guide and Services Catalog User Guide for submitting actions such as:
- Adds
- Changes
- Deletes
- Temporary Price Reductions
- Photo files
For catalogs using the Product File or Services Plus File: If a modification impacts the Terms & Conditions (T&C) file, such as an Add or Delete SIN, use FCP to upload an updated T&C file after the mod is approved.
For catalogs using Price Proposal Templates (PPTs): All approved catalog-related modifications must be followed by a T&C upload to keep the Price List in line with the contract.
For more information about contract modifications, see the Modifications & Mass modification page.
